Attention Run Clubs! 

Keen to have some space for your runners to hang out and cheer runners on and hang out post-race?

Limited space is available in our Run Club Zone in The Celsius Event Village, The Domain Sydney.

Location:

Marquees will be alongside the Domain pathway as runners enter before making their final loop around Mrs Macquaries Chair - the perfect time for when they'll need that last minute boost! 

 

Bookings are open until 8pm Thursday 17 April, unless filled earlier.

Important Information

Installation & Drop Off: Club marquees will need to installed by the event team due to venue requirements. All marquees will need to be delivered to The Domain Sydney on Wednesday 30 April (8am – 5pm) or Thursday 1 May (7am – 11am).  If they aren’t delivered by this time, our team may be unable to install your marquee. You do not need to bring any pegs, weights etc. 

Bump out time: 1:00pm onwards on race day - Sunday 4 May. Please note, there will be no vehicle access and you will need to bring any equipment out on foot. 

Space available: 3x3 marquees only allowed. Marquees must be in good condition (no damage) or we may not be able to install these.

Book Run Club Zone

The following are the terms and conditions for booking a space (the Village Space) in the Run Club Village (Village) at the HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon(the Event) with USM Events Pty Ltd t/as IRONMAN ABN: 67 052 342 239 (the Operator). These terms are not negotiable and by booking a Village Space, the Run Club (the Club) is hereby acknowledging their acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

  1. To be eligible for a Village Space, the predominant purpose of the Club must be the delivery of run training or coaching services. The Club’s name must not incorporate any third-party commercial partner or use any words or marks that refer to, or are suggestive of, or confusingly similar to, the logo, name or race distance for any Operator race or event (or any World Triathlon Corporation, the IRONMAN Group or UTMB race or event), or any intellectual property of Operator, World Triathlon Corporation, the IRONMAN Group or UTMB (including without limitation the word “IRON”)Operator reserves the right to refuse entry to the Village for any Club that does not comply with these requirements. Booking a Village Space in the Villageis handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Village Spaces are subject to availability. 
  2. Operator will install tents/marquees (the Infrastructureas provided by the Club. The Club agrees to supply the Infrastructure, which must be in good condition and delivered to the Domain, on Wednesday 30 April (8am – 5pm) or Thursday 1 May (7am – 11am). If the Infrastructure is not delivered by this time, Operator may be unable to install the Infrastructure for the Event.  
  3. By booking a Village Space, the Club accepts all risks of erecting their Infrastructure in an unsecure public area and open to the natural elements. 
  4. The Club understands that it is responsible for the security of their possessions brought into the Village at the Event. Operator will not be liable for replacement or repair of any of the Club’s possessions. 
  5. The Club understands they are responsible for any damage or injury caused by any items of their Infrastructure. Operator will not be liable for any damage or injury. 
  6. The Club understands that it must hold a current Public Liability Insurance Policy for the Event weekend. 
  7. The Club must: 
    a. only erect Infrastructure within the Village Space allocated; 
    b. ensure all Infrastructure is setback from the course in accordance with any directions by the Operator; 
    c. not in any way obstruct the conduct of the Event; and 
    d. not, under any circumstance, affix or otherwise attach Infrastructure to course infrastructure. The Operator reserves the right to request re-positioning or removal of any Infrastructure (or related items) should they be deemed to impact on the operations of the Event itself. 
  8. There is no fee for Village Space at the Village 
  9. In the event of inclement or dangerous weather (for example, strong winds), or for any health and safety reasons or any other reason, Operator reserves the right to direct that Infrastructure be removed or, where necessary, the Village be cancelled in its entirety. Operator will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.  
  10. The Club agrees to comply with any public health and/or safety directions of Operator staff, representatives or contractors, police, government or health authorities in relation to its operation of a Village Space at the Village. 
  11. The Club understands that it is responsible for the conduct of its Club patrons/ members. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted within the Village.  
  12. The Club agrees to pack down and remove all rubbish from the Village Space at the conclusion of the Village. 
  13. The Club agrees to take down their Infrastructurewithin designated times as best as possible: 
    a. From 1pm on Sunday 4 May 2025  
  14. The Club’s booking is not transferrable to any other club or association. 
  15. If the Club wishes to cancel their booking, they may do so in writing to runawaysydney@theironmangroup.com
