Registration & Start Wave

Full details on HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon Event terms and conditions can be found here.  Unfortunately, we do not have a deferral program for this event. Important: Please do not ask for an exception. Our Event terms and conditions are clearly stated and applied evenly, without exception.

As both event distances are now sold out, no upgrades or downgrades in race distances can be made.

Person-to-person transfers closed on Friday 26 April 2024. No further transfers can be accomodated.

As all start waves are now sold out, no further changes can be made as all waves are subject to strict capacity limits.

Unfortunately the 10km and Half Marathon distances are now completely sold out and no further entries will become available. As such, we do not currently have a waitlist.

Our team have been working hard behind the scenes with our stakeholders to ensure as many participants as possible are given the opportunity to run with us on May 5. We are super excited that over 19,000 of you will be joining us this year – our biggest event ever! As such, the 2024 HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon has now reached event capacity.

We will not open a waitlist for the 10km or Half Marathon as no further entries will become available.

Person-to-person transfers have now closed for 2024. Unfortunately there is no other way to now gain entry into the event.

The safety of our athletes is paramount and we require information for all athletes on course – it is a condition of entry that you do not give your bib to another person to run under without formally transferring the entry.
